Dieselpunk 1921 - Version 0.3 Update

Hey everyone! I hope you've had a good week! I just wanted to give a weekly update, and give maybe a bigger announcement than usual.

First and foremost! Dieselpunk 1921 version 0.3 will be published on the 30th of November! Naturally, we'll be doing a hangout in the Lounge for that. There are some things that I have issues with in regards to where it will realistically be at, however. First of all I am not happy with the current state of the character sheet, in particular how inaccessible it is. This is an issue I was aware of but was internally downplaying. I want Dieselpunk 1921 to be an accessible game for everyone, and the current state of the character sheet in not readable nor is it accessible. That is unacceptable, and for that I'm sorry. For version 0.4 (which I hope to release in early January), I will have a fully reworked character sheet. The current version that is published (version 0.8) will remain the currently published version unless I manage to complete a full rework for 0.95, which does not seem likely. The updated version of the character sheet will be in landscape, rather than portrait, and will have a completely different layout. I am working on a design for it, however at the moment I am not able to share that with you.

Secondly, I plan to reformat the document in Affinity Publisher. Affinity Publisher is, to my understanding, objectively better than the program I'm currenly using in every way except one: it does not have support for creating fillable PDFs. For the character sheet, I will continue using LibreOffice to make it fillable, however that is the extent that I will be using LibreOffice. The final version of Dieselpunk 1921 formatted with LibreOffice will be 0.3.

Thirdly, in the long term, I would like to be able to hold a physical copy of Dieselpunk 1921 in my hands. That means that the size of pages will be changed to fit with the printing requirements of DriveThruRPG's Print on Demand system. This one is really only a neat point for all you formatting nerds out there (Me and like 4 other people, I assume). If you're curious, I will likely be using 8.5" x 11" as that was what was recommended by a couple people I spoke to.

Fourthly: I will probably not be the one running Playtests moving forward. I am very invested in this project, for obvious reasons, and that makes it very difficult for me to be able to remain calm, cool, and collected (aka not have a panic attack) while running the game. I love running games for people, but I get very nervous and in my own head, especially for things i'm passionate about. If you would like to run a playtest or you have run Dieselpunk 1921, please do let me know, because I would love your feedback and to offer any support I can. If enough people express interest, I would be happy to make a Narrator channel for people.

Fifth...ly: This is probably the one I'm most nervous about anouncing: For version 0.4 I will be mostly focusing on getting all of the worldbuilding in. That means that, unless it is something essential, I will not be writing any additional rules for the game. I think the current system is extremely functional, and I haven't noticed or heard feedback on any specific rules that should be or need to be added (except for a description on what a "D3" is). I am tackling writing the pages for each country in Dieselpunk 1921 in a more or less random order. I have a bunch of the collages made (well, I have a few of the collages made), but naturally making one for each country in addition to writing a description for each country is... time consuming.

I have attached the two most recent collages that I've made! The first serves a mystery purpose, no spoilers, and the second will be the background for the description page of France.
